I started Jenna Sais Quoi Travel because I’m a firm believer in the power of travel to bring families and friends closer. My parents were avid travelers. Well into their golden years, my dad was constantly researching space available flights he could get as a retired Air Force colonel. Next thing you’d know, he and my mom would be strapping on their backpacks and boarding a cargo flight to Europe. Early in my career, one of my sisters hosted me at her home in Paris for three years, and my parents would come visit us there, or we’d meet them in Italy – often with other siblings or nieces and nephews in tow. As a family, we rang in Y2K at the Paris Ritz, celebrated my sister’s marriage under a beautiful Ravello full moon, and a nephew’s wedding in a romantically lit barn in Sligo, Ireland — with countless memorable trips in between. Today, it means so much to me to see my daughters connect with their relatives on both sides through shared adventures.
